Origins face creamEstee Lauder has announced a voluntary recall of its Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega Mushroom Soothing face cream.  This product is distributed only in the U.S. (Batch code #A43) and sold in 30 ml or 50 ml jars.

The reason for the recall is this particular batch was found to have mold contamination.  The presence of mold could present high risk of skin infections, especially those with compromised skin, weakened immune systems or those who wear permanent or extended wear contact lenses (if the product gets into the eyes).

Estee Lauder says no other Origins by Dr. Andrew Weil or other Origins products are affected.  All products with this batch code have already removed from stores.
