MAC products

The Department of Homeland Security has made raids on businesses involved in bringing counterfeit MAC products into the U.S.  MAC (owned by Estee Lauder) is one of many companies whose products have been targeted.  Consumers are urged to purchase MAC products from reputable sources.  Many of these tainted products are being sold in small stores and online at one-fifth the original cost to the consumer.

These knock-off products are manufactured, in China, may contain toxic heavy metals and bacteria which can cause skin irritation and scarring.  These counterfeit rings make up 80% of fake products on the market.
