smartphonesCosmetic surgeons are beginning to see more and more patients with “Smartphone face”.  The over use of smartphones are attributing to lines and wrinkles.  The constant gazing down at the phone may cause more lines and creases on the neck than those that would appear naturally as one ages.  So, even if you are fanatical about your facial appearance, lines and creases on the neck can make you look older quicker and most certainly can give away your age!

You may not be able to live without your smartphone, but it could also be teeming with germs.  A recent study showed that “mobile phones are 18 times dirtier than public bathrooms” (Yahoo News, 2013).  This is because phones are stored in dark places which accelerates the growth of bacteria on the surface.  So wipe down your phones regularly to keep germs at bay.
