Bari Cosmetics is making a voluntary recall of its cuticle oil treatment product. Bari cuticle oil is sold only at Walmart and marketed as “Pure Ice Fixer Upper Cuticle Oil”. To date, there have been no incidents of accidental product inhalation by children. The company says only 300 of the product have been sold as of March 2016.
The product contains a low-viscosity mineral oil which could be harmful to children if the product is inhaled. Bari is opting to reformulate the product rather than changing to child-resistant packaging. The time frame to release the new product has not been determined.
